Dalton Carpet One is seeking a motivated, forward-thinking individual to fill the Marketing Intern position on the Retail Marketing Team. This individual will be encouraged to learn about the industry and strategize creatively, as well as collaboratively, about how Dalton Carpet One can continue to be a leading brand in its geographic market. This position will also work with our newest brand, Dalton Floor Tailor.
Overview of Position:
The Marketing Associate will assist in the planning, execution, and optimization of Dalton Carpet One and Dalton Floor Tailor’s Marketing efforts. This position will work to ensure our brands are competitive across various channels and mediums. The Marketing Intern will be responsible for supporting our digital and traditional marketing efforts, including but not limited to the company’s web presence, email marketing campaigns and social media influence. This position will work directly with the Director of Marketing and Public Relations to implement new strategies and take on marketing-related projects.

JOB Work / Your duty?
- Assist Director of Marketing and PR with promotions, branding opportunities, delivering campaign results, data analytics and content development.
- Promote on-brand messaging throughout active channels and mediums with the goal of enhancing the image of the company and driving revenue.
- · Assist in the creation, development, and revising of marketing collateral for digital and traditional media content; including for the website, social media platforms, email marketing, and upcoming projects.
- · Develop strategic blog topic schedule and write blogs that relate to the brand and customer’s interest using our products and unique service offerings
- · Conduct research projects related to trends and changes in the industry to guide and identify potential marketing solutions.
- · Utilize customer tracking and analysis to determine adjustments to future strategies and tactics.
- · Contribute to overall marketing objectives and strategies.
- · Ability to work both autonomously and in a collaborative setting.
- · Build and maintain relationships with the sales team and advertising partners.
- · Ability to communicate with all levels in the organization.
Requirements for these Vacancies?
- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or related field.
- · Working knowledge of design programs like Canva, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.
- · Preferably has previous experience managing social media account(s) for an organization or business.
- · Candidate should pay close attention to details in content and photos.
- · Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- · Excellent organizational and priority management skills.
- · Ability to work on multiple projects at one time, plan ahead and think strategically.
- · Able to adhere to strict deadlines.
- · Experience working with Microsoft Suite.
- · Eye for photography is a bonus, but not required.

Dalton Floor Tailor is a division of the Dalton Carpet One Brand and exclusively offers flooring products. This division offers convenient in-home services for customers to easily select new flooring from in their own space with their furniture, lighting, and paint colors all at hand. This Shop at Home service is currently serving the North Georgia area.
